What age did you start potty training?

my one year old takes his “man parts” out of his diaper and then pees on my floor every time he has to pee lol

Sounds like he doesn't like the feeling of a wet diaper which is one of the indicators he might be ready to potty train...give it a go!

It wouldn’t hurt to get a potty if you don’t have one already and at least introduce him to it. I did this at 1 as well but he just didn’t understand it, at 2 he one day went to the bathroom with me and initiated potty training on his own he asked to go so I said go for it and he did it. Now for a while there he just didn’t understand oh this feeling means I need to potty until rather recently he now tells me he has to potty and we’ve been doing pretty good this last month or so. My pediatrician said not to rush it especially first introducing the potty.

We recently started potty training our daughter! She is 15 months!👌🏾 We we're hesitant to start because we did not know what to think about the signs she was showing. She definitely had all signs that she was ready, however we were afraid. So far, so good though!👍🏾

I started at 18 months with our 20-month-old. She's almost fully potty trained now.
