Expired IUD?

Sooo my Miriena IUD has been in me since February of 2014. Which means yes, my 5 years are up. The entire time I’ve had it, I haven’t had a period or really bled at all. Well last week, i peed and after I wiped I noticed some brownish discharge. I assumed I was spotting and put a panty liner on. I did this from Jan 24- Jan 29! Is that spotting? The panty liner at a about 9 drops on it each day....literally like nothing but a waste of a panty liner. Lol. My question is...was I spotting? Was it a period? Is it from my Miriena going back? Is my Miriena still active or is it just chillen in there doing nothing? Was that implantation bleeding? I called my OB but they don’t have anything for IUD removals open for about a week yet....

Any advice is appreciated!!! 🙃
