Has anyone ever used a VA loan , was the process hard , did you need a down payment for the house you were buying , what did the condition of the home have to be in? How much of a loan did you qualify for ?

My husband is an e-4 in the USMC and gets out June 2020, we are using our VA loan to buy a house in Texas where I’ll be moving to in October while he deploys . Were currently in CA.
