For us, no. We have the rockaroo and mamaroo. It doesn’t soothe my baby, he’d rather just be held.

It’s collecting dust in my basement. 🤷♀️

My son hated it. Loved his rock n play though.

I’m still pregnant, but my cousin had it and her baby wouldn’t sit in it without crying but loved a normal swing

Depends on the baby just like a normal swing or bouncer. They’ll either love it or hate it. My son loved it now we’re waiting for our little girl to see what she likes.

I put one on my registry (I have a lot of aunts and uncles without children who I knew would jump at the chance to buy a fancy baby accessory) and we bought so much of the essentials ourself I was running out of registry items. Sure enough my uncle bought us the mommaroo . Not sure I would have bought it myself, since from what I hear it’s really hit or miss with the babies. I have to say the thing is pretty cool, we won’t be using it for another 3 months or so (due with our first in April) but right now there is a stuffed toy elephant in it and I turn it on from time to time just cause I think it’s wicked cool and because it weirds my dog out 😂

Idk, like people say it’s a hit or miss.. I got it and my daughter only slept in the mommaroo during the day.... it was my savior.. the second she hit it she was out but we’ll see with my son who is due next month

My sisters had it and 1/6 kids liked it (we all shared). My kid definitely preferred the traditional swing. It was fraction of the cost, had a higher weight limit (we make big babies, this is important 😂), and was quieter 🤷♀️

My son hated anything that wasn’t mummies arms for the first 3 months of his life. I figured it was a waste of money but put it near the entry of our house to lay him in for a second while I took my coat off. One day I popped him in and he started giggling away, ever since he’s loved it and will sit in it while I eat breakfast and/or lunch. He’s never fallen asleep in it but atleast he likes it now.
