Yeast infection or UTI? TMI

I have a doctors appointment booked for Thursday morning but the symptoms are so uncomfortable / painful that I wonder if I could find out what the issue is beforehand?

I took a self test and it says i either have a yeast infection or no infection (which would indicate a UTI) can anyone help me with diagnosing the difference?

My discharge is currently brown but I think that’s because i only recently finished my period, other than that it doesn’t smell or have a strange texture.. the worst symptom is the painful urination and the constant urge to pee. It started off being very itchy and there was a cut inside my labia but now my vagina just feels sore and a bit swollen / itchy deep inside my vagina.

Sorry it’s TMI I’m just so uncomfortable I really wanted to help soothe the symptoms before thursday 😩
