It’s a biological/evolutionary thing that most newborns look like the father. This is so the dad sees himself in the kid and will stick around. The mom knows it’s hers cuz she carried baby for 9 months, but this is a way for dads to get that bond. Eventually looks may change and the kid will look more like mom
