I don't drink while I'm feeding, but I do still have a drink or two and then nurse an hour or so later.

I use an app called “feed safe”. You tap it when you start a drink and it tells you when the alcohol will be out of your system. I feed my baby, have a drink and then can feed again safety a couple of hours later. I reckon we deserve a drink here and there!

I wait the 2 hour period, after drinking a drink, to feed or pump. So, I usually only have 1 glass of wine or beer. I’m also not afraid to pump and dump if I have more than 1 drink.

I used to love beer, but after 9 months without it, now I really only drink one beer max. Usually I drink it while LO is eating so that it’ll be out of my system by the next time he eats.
