Garden while on Maternity leave?? Too much work?

Hey guys. I’m pregnant and due in late August. This is my first year doing a garden and my question is....should I do one? 
Most people say don’t do it when you’re pregnant because it’s a lot of work and money. 
I live in Washington and from my understanding you have to start the plants indoor if you’re doing seeds because some plants gestation is longer than others and it’s still to cold to plant them in March. 
So for those who do a garden every year, should I do one this year while pregnant? 
I’m starting my Maternity leave in June!

If you do raised bed gardens and go easy on yourself, you should be fine. The part I’d be more concerned about is that you’re due around the busiest time of the gardening year and you’re going to have a newborn during harvest time. It’s still possible to keep up with the work, but I’d hate for you to be discouraged about gardening because you’re too tired to keep up with everything.

Depends on if you’ll need to pull weeds regularly it gets pretty hard to stoop and kneel down and whatnot

I have a small garden that I plan on starting while still pregnant. It's a raised garden so not very much weeding to do. I also plan to just buy pre grown plants this year because it ends up costing the same and it's so much easier. Here's a pic from last year.
