Bleeding during early pregnancy

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had experience with bright red light bleeding that’s lasted longer than 2 weeks? Also, very minimal cramps/pain? My doctor says I’m possibly going through a miscarriage. We also don’t see anything on the ultra sound and she says could be early still but she’s not so optimistic. I am doing a second round of bloodwork for my hcg levels. A week before, my hcg was rising but not at the speed they wanted it to be but again she says it could be because it’s too early.
