So we have had my little calico girl kitty Bagheera since last July and recently she has become my best little friend and I am super attatched. Well recently we had been talking about getting another cat and the opportunity arose for us to adopt one of my fiance's dad's barn cats due to the deep freeze and their inability to afford enough cat food for all of them. She has been slowly acclimating to him and I've seen them playing with each other for hours at night when they think everyone is asleep but as soon as she knows I'm watching she will hiss and growl if he gets too close (he is the softest natured, cuddliest cat ever for basically thinking of us as strangers). I'm hoping it will pass after another week or 2 but I have been giving her extra love and attention to let her know she hasn't been replaced and now she has her special corner in the house that is her retreat from everything. She's starting to eat a healthy amount again after a couple of days of mostly refusing, but I'm thinking I want to make some homemade cat treats for them and want to know your favorite recipes or cat treats! (He will appreciate it too, but as he will literally stuff himself to the brim if food is not left out in portions for him and he begs constantly, he is being closely monitored by myself to make sure he isn't overeating or stealing Bagheeras food, which I have already caught him at a few times!)
