Do you tell people you’re TTC?

I’ve always told my husband that I would want to keep our pregnancy private until we were through the first trimester. Yesterday I found out that he tells ALL of his friends that we’re TTC 😳 I’ve only told my mom and my best friend (and you lovely ladies), so I was a little annoyed - especially because it’s been a little tough. So, to get to my question, are you open about TTC or do you keep it to yourselves?

I stay quiet. Cause people will pester you about it and if you’re having difficulties it can be annoying

I told the ladies here but no one else because when you tell people closets to you every conversation becomes about ttc and then you get the "dont eat that dont eat this... you should do this or do that" blah blah blah basically unsolicited advice but when you tell the ladies here it's a beautiful support team and no unsolicited advice and it's a sisterhood who is going through the same thing

I think he’s just excited... my husband and I share it because we know they’ll feel more with us once they know we’ve conceived successfully...

I only told close family and friends but I didnt actually announce it until I was out of the first trimester

Nope , I didn’t tell people even family that was pregnant, my family still don’t know (only parents and grandparents knows) that I have a 5 month old daughter 🤗
