Hi there! I’m studying become a certified doula! I’ll have everything done in about a month. That being said, I am not a medical professional but know my fair share :) Typically, if you’re having symptoms caused by an actual pregnancy you will be able to get a positive. When your egg finally implants (which can happen anywhere from 6 DPO to 12 DPO) it triggers your brain to release HCG (the pregnancy hormone). It takes about 2 days to acquire enough HCG in your body for a positive test. So if you implant at 6 DPO you could get a positive at 8 DPO, or if you implant on 12 DPO, you could get a positive as late as 14 DPO. With that in mind, if your body has enough HCG to get a positive you may also have symptoms such as sore breast, exhaustion, nausea, etc. You won’t, however, get pregnancy symptoms until after you’ve implanted and released enough HCG.Simply put, if you think you are having pregnancy symptoms you should be able to get a positive. If it’s negative, what you are experiencing isn’t related to pregnancy. That doesn’t mean you won’t implant in a few days, but it does mean you aren’t producing HCG yet, and the symptoms are unrelated. I hope that makes sense! Good luck- hope your time comes soon.
Tww is killing me!😭
I’m 7 dpo and going crazy! Thank god I worked today because if I didn’t I know I would have taken a test knowing damn well it would be negative.🤦🏽♀️ So far my symptoms are VERY sore nipples, pulling cramps, frequent urination, and on Saturday I got a stuffy nose which I didn’t have before. Maybe I’m just reading into it too much. Who’s 7dpo with me??
