So my SO and I are French Canadian, and we're thinking of naming our baby Ophélie if it turns out to be a girl. Which is the french version of Ophelia.

I'm a bit torn because even though we live in a mostly french-speaking environment, we do have to interact with english speakers on a regular basis, and she probably will too. And I would hate for her to see her name being butchered, my SO has a very non english-friendly name (Jean-Philippe) and he has to go by JP, otherwise it's a hassle to get people to actually get his name.
