Can ovulation tests be used at pregnancy test??

So I just been curious my sis tryed this and it was right but is that even true I mean obviously my sis it was true but I mean to any other person??

No. Well yes, but long after an hpt would be positive, plus women have an LH surge just before AF so there would be no way to know which it was, and you'd have to use an hpt anyway.

I had a Clearblue digital ovulation predictor and I wanted to test that theory after I had already found out I was pregnant and I still got the positive smiley face, which normally meant ovulating.

It has been said that some ovulation tests read HCG. I did get a positive result on an ovulation test. I have read a lot from different people, and some women do not get positives after they are clearly pregnant.
