I had my 39 week appt today. I’m 39.1. For the past 3-4 weeks I’ve been 1cm and long, baby is estimated to be 8.5lbs as of last week (gaining .5 lbs a week oy!). My mother and family are in town. Till Sunday. My doctor scheduled me for induction on Wednesday night. I’m so excited and also super nervous. I didn’t want to induce but I also want my family here. I’ve tried all the natural things. Pineapple. Spicy food. Sex. Lots of orgasms. Nipple stimulation. Evening primrose. All of it over the past 3 weeks and my cervix hasn’t changed a damn bit. So, unless lil man says “here I come” between now and Wednesday night, looks like we’ll be holding him no matter what by the end of the week. Wish us luck for an easy laboring.
