Do you think it was implantation bleeding or ovulation spotting???

Please help!! 
My cycle is usually between: 39-45 days.
However, this cycle has been a tad different than normal: 
*Light, light spotting (brownish color) started on day: 25
Stopped on day: 30 
*If I get spotting, it is normally right before my period starts and the spotting turns into a period flow. BUT this time it just stopped... 
*Now I’m on cycle day: 33 
No sign of period, spotting never came back. I took a pregnancy test today = negative. 
*Super mild cramping during the spotting days. On and off since. 
Any ideas, ladies??? I’m so confused...

Implantation and ovulation don’t typically cause spotting, and given the fact that the spotting you experienced lasted for 5 days, it’s very improbable that it was due to either of these..
Perhaps it was related to a hormonal imbalance, or maybe even an early light period?? 
I usually spot for a couple of days before AF actually shows up, but a couple of months ago, I had a super light period for about 3 days and that was that. I normally bleed moderately and for about 5 days. It was weird and seemed to be just a system glitch for me as they have been back to normal ever since. 
Maybe just give it a few days and see what your body decides to do!
