Putting in tampons

I’ve tried putting in tampons many times... every time it’s hurts really bad and hurts when I take them out, I almost don’t want to take them out it hurts so bad. I’ve watched videos, I I’ve used a mirror and tried different positions but nothing seems to work...any tips? Or is there something I might be doing wrong?
