Needy? Clingy? Annoying? Relationship rules??

Question

I want to talk to my boyfriend all the time and see him everyday, I don't and I can't. I'm just so confused as to what I'm supposed to do in order to follow the "rules". How much am I supposed to talk to him and what am I not "allowed" to say? Is it really so bad that I love him that much? I don't get how I'm supposed to stifle my feelings and only show him a fraction.

I think every relationship is different as far as wanting to talk to him all day, my boyfriend and I text all day unless he's at work. He's my best friend though so I don't really tell anyone else everything except him. And when he's not at work he's with me. He comes to see me after work almost every night as well. I think it's a bit much but I appreciate that he takes that time to go out of his way to see me and texts me all day and such. I don't think it's clingy. And if you both love eachother I don't see an issue with talking all day.

The way you're feeling is totally normal, but you need to think about the kind of relationship you're building. Do you want him to feel guilty if he gets busy and can't text you? Do really want to be texting each other when you really should be paying attention to what you're supposed to be doing? Do you want to be in a relationship where neither of you have your own friends or your own interests? Because the actions you take daily will define your relationship long term. 
If you feel like you NEED to talk to him, you should probably practice not doing it all day. Not only could it push him away, obsessing over someone else in that way is almost never healthy. When I find myself wanting to text a guy constantly and see him every single day I try to find something else to do. I go work out or i make plans with a friend, anything to remind myself that I have a life outside of that relationship and that just because I'm in love doesn't mean we can't have our own lives.

My boyfriend and I are a little clingy. We like to see each other every day and we moved in together after only 4 months because we wanted to share our lives with each other in that way. But the first month we dated he went to Florida for 2 weeks to see family and a few months later I took a month long trip to Spain with my school that I had been planning. There were plenty of days that we only talked once that day and some days where the only messages we sent were "goodnight". We do our best to give each other 
Space because we know that we don't want our relationship to be unhealthily codependent. Even now there are days we barely see each other because of work and school, but that's okay because we both have goals and other things we need to do :)

Have you talked to him about how much you want to talk to him? Know his limits and what he finds appropriate. You don't want to lose him over it. Communication is key.
