Nexplanon

So i was on nexplanon. Its still in my arm, as i havent had an appt to take it out and replace it yet, but its coming up. However the three year mark has passed and i got a period for january. But i am 1 day late today. I had protected sex with my husband on jan 17 which was only 2 days after my last period ended. (Period was jan 8-15). Im thinking my period is just late because the nexplanon hormones just ended. What do you ladies think? Anyone come off nexplanon and immediately have normal periods again? Just curious if i should just wait it out or test.
