Is it wrong/cheating?

is it wrong to accept compliments when ur in a relationship? Like if a stranger comments/messages you saying “you’re pretty” etc. Do you have to immediately shut it down like “I have a boyfriend/girlfriend” or can you just accept the compliment “thank u” and move on
no flirting, nothing else. just a “thank you” 
is that being sneaky/cheating/etc?

Unless the person complimenting you trys to push it, there isn't any need to reply with "I'm in a relationship", etc. If your partner is too insecure to accept that you can have genuine compliments (and vice versa), then you have more issues then you bargained for.

It's not wrong,  in fact I find it rude when people answer like that. I compliment people,  guys and girls,  with no intention of flirting at all

I wouldn’t say cheating or sneaky but I wouldn’t do it. If its in person I’d say a quick “thanks”. But messaging back dudes that I’m guessing are dming you on insta (my guess at least lol)  that you aren’t friends with I think is weird.

I usually reply with something like "thanks! My husband and I appreciate the compliment!" Mainly just because I'm always clear to anyone that me and hubs are a package.

I don’t think it’s sneaky, but I always have my partners feelings in mind and usually just ignore since i only appreciate his compliments :)
