Mirena?!

Hey all! What are you experiences with Mirena? Going in tomorrow to get it.

I had it for 2 years. Really liked it. I didnt have any abnormal spotting or anything, but I still had regular periods even though they say they may stop.

I got it at 6 weeks pp and had just finished my pp bleeding. Day after I got it, I started bleeding and didn't stop for 4 months plus it made me sooooo oooooh emotional, so I got it taken out. Hope it goes better for you.

I loved mine! Had it twice for over 6 years. Took 6 months to completely adjust to it at first but after that it was great.

Oh the only thing I didn’t like was I spotted for THREE SOLID MONTHS. That was horrid. My friend had one and only bled when it was inserted. Lucky.

I love mine! I was on bc pills in HS (got married at 17) then I used Nuva Ring for a few years but after I had my third baby I got the Mirena. I had that for a year and a half, didn’t plan on having it taken out but we decided to try and I conceived the day after I had it removed! Due 02/22/19. I was nervous to have an IUD put in even with birthing 3 kids but I couldn’t believe it was in once he did it, felt nothing.
