Grinding teeth?!

OMG anyone else dealing with this?! It is literally the worst sound ever!!!!! She’s got her 2 bottom and her 2 top broke through like 3 days ago and now as she’s falling asleep she grinds them so hard. I don’t know what to do. Everyone says give her lots of toys to chew on which helps during the day but idk what to do while she’s falling asleep. Any advice?

I’m not sure about the grinding, but my daughter smacks herself when she’s eating and occasionally when she’s tired. I was told to just not make a big deal out of it, because if they realize it gets them attention, they might continue just for that reason.

My LO is doing this awake and asleep. I've been distracting him if I can or just doing my best to ignore it. I know it's just a phase as they acclimate to the sensation of new teeth.

Omg I remember this with my oldest! They do stop but I always tried to distract her. It’s enough to drive you nuts huh!?
