Anyone dreading labour?

Ive been driving myself crazy from 3 months! Specially if Im going to need stitches 😭 now being due in 3 months my anxiety has hit the roof!I cant be the only one?
Anyone have and tips or ideas?

No. This is the one area I feel calm about. I was looking forward to it last time, and I feel similar this time even knowing what might come. My anxiety is more what could go wrong, but I try to keep that at bay. Pain, stitches, recovery is all temporary. I've always been more nervous about the being in charge of another human life for the rest of my life part. Lol.

Have you thought about hiring a doula? I’m very nervous too but I found a great doula who I feel more confident going into this experience with.

Try and think positively, what will be well be, maybe have a chat with your midwife or doctor about your anxiety

This is my fourth, and my last was supposed to be my final and was a very traumatic experience. I'm terrified to go through it again. 😭

Kind of. But just remember it'll all be worth it once you see your beautiful baby. My labor with my first son sucked but once they put him on my chest I forgot about all of it.

I wouldd chat with a doula, go to childbirth education classes. Educating yourself can help feel more comfortable

I don't know if you have this where you live, but I did hypnobirth with my first and it helped me relax and embrace every possibilities. I had a natural birth, I won't lie it wasn't pain free and I had a few stitches, but I learned from it and looking forward to do it again in May with number 2. I absolutely recommend hypnobirth whether you are planning on a natural birth or not.
