Owlet Foot Monitor... is it worth it? Need honest opinions and experiences. I know you can’t put a price on a baby’s life which is why my boyfriend and I are seriously considering it, but I don’t know anyone personally whose used it and I see mixed things online. 
FTM here so everything is completely new to me but I know I’m a worrier so I have a feeling it’ll be a constant worry of mine when my girl is here.

I just bought mine a few weeks ago, obviously haven’t used the Sock yet but I set up the Cam this weekend (I got the bundle). I LOVE the Cam. I can check it from anywhere, it’s got two-way audio, night vision, and a temp sensor.
If the Sock is as high quality as the Cam is, I’m never going to regret having that peace of mind.

I loved the sock. It only went off once with the red alarm but I was able to hurry and check on my baby. I have such peace of mind from it.

I decided not to get one because I read online that it is inconvenient when baby is wearing footie pajamas. It doesn’t work and I love footie pajamas and sleep sacks and if baby likes them too I want to be able to use them. I instead found a cam online that is supposed to detect breathing movements. I found it by reading an article when I googled “alternatives to Owlett monitor”

I’m a first time mom and I’m really nervous. I’m almost
positive I’m going to get one just to have that peace of mind and not be able to sleep without worrying. I added it onto my registry at Target because they give you 2 15% off coupons for anything that wasn’t bought on the registry. :)

No. I heard there are a lot of false alarms with them so drs aren’t fond of them. Just another thing to worry about.

I personally didn’t get one with my first. And won’t with this one either. But I know others who feel better having one and are not as stressed at night that they feel they need to constantly get up and check on baby
