Would you tell your in-laws?

My husband and I are ttc and have for awhile now. Unfortunately I’m not ovulating so now we have to go to an RE and probably start injections since the clomid/femera didn’t work. My parents know about all of this but my in-laws, whom we live with, do not. I’m thinking it might be time to tell them. But we wanted it to be a surprise. I just don’t want them to see my giving myself an injection and freak out! What would you do?

My in-laws knew as well as my parents. My MIL is a prayer warrior, so I always feel more comfort with her support. We’ve also been married for quite some time. We’re always around our nieces/nephews and talk about kids. When it wasn’t happening for us, they knew something was up.

It’s all up to you and if you feel comfortable telling them. If you think it will add stress or pressure to you guys, then I wouldn’t. But it’s all up to your personal preference

When my husband and I first started going through this I was pretty quiet about it. When people would ask me, I would just say when it’s meant to be it would be.. but I’ve learned with experience if people just know what’s going on they kind of stop asking every time they see you.  I hated that question, they would get under my skin and I would Instantly get upset, so now I’m just honest about it I don’t give them all the details. all I say is - we’re going through infertility, were seeing doctors, what’s meant to be will be. Can You please stop asking me and my husband now.

For me personally I won’t be telling my in laws. My mom and I are very close and it’s my body, so I’d prefer my in laws to not know the details. We also want conceiving to be a surprise as much as possible. 
Will telling your in laws add stress to you or your SO? If so, keep it hush. Take the injections in your bathroom or bedroom where they will not see.

We were kind of forced to tell everyone when I had a mass in my uterus from clomid.  I needed surgery.  So we had no choice.  I'm gonna say it's much better now that ppl know.  When I don't feel good and stuff it's all explained lol
