Gave birth to my son 2.5 weeks when should I expect my period?

I bled for two weeks and it’s stopped now. He nurses part time and formula fed the other half. I’m unsure when to expect my regular period to pick back up. Any thoughts?

It is different for every woman and every pregnancy.

It’s different for everyone. If you exclusively breastfeed, it takes longer to come. If your baby is not always feeding from your breast, then your period will come faster.

Depends on if your breastfeeding also. That could be up to a year or long her.

I breastfed my first for several months and she was nearly six months old before I got my period again. My second was bottlefed and I got my period back after 8 weeks. I know that’s not an answer, but maybe it can give you an idea.

i still beastfeed my 11 month ... period came back 8 months after delivery ... and man did i not miss it :)

Well I was breastfeeding until 2 and never got it until my son was over 1 ha ha ha.

It really is different from one pregnancy to the next.  Breastfeeding plays a role. They have always said 6 weeks is average but that sometimes it can take longer.  Just be careful and use protection if you don’t want another little one.

It depends for each woman. One kiddo for me it took almost a year. Last kiddo it took a few months.
