Yoyo stroller & alternatives?

I’m planning to get the Uppababy Vista as my main stroller. Butttt my husband and I travel alot so i was planning to get another stroller that is similar to the Babyzen Yoyo stroller; compact, easy to take inside of the plane and fold etc. 
But since the uppababy is expensive, I’m looking for a cheaper alternative to the Babyzen Yoyo stroller. I need it to easily fold and fit in the overhead bin. Also to work well with a newborn.
Any recommendations?

I have a vista and then also tested the Minu and YoYo and went for the Minu. Both of them need 2 hands (uppa needs 2 to open, yo yo 2 to close, so if you want to open and close with 1 hand) maybe look at a traditional umbrella. 
I ended up with the Minu for 2 reasons. First, you can get adaptors to click the Mesa or Nuna Pippa on it. It’s great if you plan to use it and have the car seat either before your baby is big enough for the seat or when they sit fit in the infant seat to avoid needing to take them in and out of the car seat. 
Also, EVERY time I tried to open the yo yo, the wheels got locked against each other bc they were twisted. The sales lady said oh that’s weird it never happens but one of my friends with a yo yo said it happens to her ALL the time. 
I think the yo yo fits in all overhead compartments and the Minu most. We don’t fly much so that wasn’t a consideration. Otherwise weight and features were similar.

We have the Uppababy Minu and a Zoe XLC best V2. The Zoe is our airplane travel stroller because it’s only 11lbs (2lb lighter than the Yoyo), and it folds just as small as the Yoyo. It’s a one-handed open and fold, amazing canopy, 4-wheels suspension, the works. The only thing is that it’s not meant for newborns AND if you fly on United airlines you’ll have to check your stroller at the gate no matter what stroller you have...at least that’s what they told us on our last flight. There was a couple on our same flight last week with a Yoyo and they had to check it before the flight as well. We were SO glad we brought our Zoe instead of our Minu because the Zoe only cost $150, versus the Minu which was $400, and they did scratch it a bit after we got it back. We’re planning to buy the backpack for our Zoe on our next trip to avoid that mess again.
Our Minu is a wonderful stroller, but it’s quite a bit bigger and heavier than our Zoe. It is newborn compatible if you get the car seat adapters or the bassinet attachment, but that costs extra money, just like the Yoyo. If you don’t need the stroller to be newborn ready I highly recommend the Zoe XLC because it’s seriously the best travel stroller. It folds fairly flat so it’s probably fine for a younger baby, but I wouldn’t trust anything other than a bassinet for a true newborn.

I have the yo-yo and the minu. I have two children 20 months apart and use them for travel. It sounds crazy but two strollers are better than one vista when traveling. I always have my husband with me when traveling so he can push one. I had the yo-yo first and absolutely loved it. I used it more than my vista once the baby outgrew the Mesa car seat. It’s an amazing stroller. However, the weight limit is 40 pounds and my 2.5 year old was already 35 pounds. I decided to get the minu instead of the yo-yo because of this. In my opinion if you travel by air, get the yo-yo (the minu does not fit in overhead bins of 747 aircrafts, maybe airbus?) the yo-yo also can allow a board to have an older kid ride on and the minu doesn’t. If you just want a smaller stroller and the overhead bin doesn’t matter to you, get the minu. It allows the Mesa car seat too which the yo-yo doesn’t. The storage bin is bigger too and the sun shield is better and bigger. Hope this helps!
