Struggling with night sleep

Emily

Does anyone else feel like they’re struggling with babies nighttime sleep!? Mine wakes to eat once, which is fine with me, but then gets squirmy early on and just doesn’t sleep great. I feel bad for him cause then he goes to daycare and I know doesn’t get good naps there, like he does at home. Please tell me I’m not alone!

You should really count your blessings. I’d give anything to only wake up once 😅

Kinsley has been waking up to feed twice and then two-four other times I either roll over to find her staring at me from her bassinet or she wakes up crying (it’s weird - almost like a dream-like cry). If she’s awake and our eyes make contact she immediately starts babbling and gets hyped up so I usually have to calm her back to sleep. Likewise if she’s crying I calm her down a bit and she drifts back to sleep. She previously slept 10 hours straight (She’s never been an 11-12hr night sleeper) and she’s still getting 10 hours, but it’s broken up. So if I go to bed right when she does or an hour after I average between 5-7 hours because I have a difficult time getting back to sleep each time. It’s brutal. I didn’t realize I’d get so used to sleeping through the night again so soon only to have it taken away again 😅.

My baby has been struggling too lately. He wakes up at 3 am and eats and then refuses to sleep again unless I’m holding him. He was such a good sleeper for the most part until now so I’m trying to get him to adjust back to his crib .

Yeah I’m struggling too and don’t know what’s going on. I’m hoping it’s just a growth spurt and things will go back to normal in a week or so.

I just don’t get it! We haven’t sleep trained yet, don’t think I’m ready for that-maybe when he’s around 8 months?
