Anyone ever had low progesterone?

How did you find out?? Was that the cause of the Mc or mc’s ??

Yes. Had a miscarriage (first time they didn’t check my progesterone levels) and at that time the cause was unknown! I am now 19 weeks pregnant and my first appointment they checked my progesterone and it was very very low. So they put me on progesterone suppositories from 6-12 weeks (every night). They later told me that was more than likely the reason for my miscarriage.

I first found out about my low progesterone from my bbt chart. My temp never gets very high and the difference between my pre and post O temps is pretty small. It was confirmed by blood work. I believe that low progesterone caused my loss based on my chart while miscarrying.

Can low progesterone levels give a false negative on a pregnancy test?? I’m 10 days late and still testing negative, not sure if my hormones are out of wack!

During my 2nd miscarriage we found out I had low progesterone so I took progesterone the next time but I unfortunately still miscarried. Progesterone is not proven to prevent miscarriage but can help if you have low progesterone. Next time you are pregnant request from your doctor to have your levels checked
