Cramping 1-2dpo?

Question

I’m 2dpo and have been having mild af type cramping and low backaches ever since ovulation (ovulation date is 100% correct). I always get ovulation pains but never have this cramping after ovulation. Anyone have cramping right after ovulation and end up with a bfp?

Mild cramping within a day or two of ovulation is normal and can happen regardless of pregnancy. It would be completely unrelated to pregnancy as implantation doesn’t happen until at least 6dpo and can take as long as 12dpo. Prior to implantation, any symptoms you have are just the result of ovulation/pms and have nothing to do with pregnancy.

I often have cramping immediately after ovulation. I assume it's something to do with how my body is responding to the rise in progesterone? Still no BFP, but hopefully someone else has a happier ending to share with you. 🙂

This was 3 years ago so I may not be remembering correctly, but I’m pretty sure I have mild cramping throughout my entire 2ww when I got pregnant with my son. It started pretty much the day after ovulation and was on and off until I was probably 8-9 weeks pregnant. Good luck!

From what I understand it’s normal to have the achy/cramping due to the building of uterine lining after ovulation. You shed the lining during your period and then your hormones change after ovulation and have to quickly build the lining back up. 
So it isn’t necessarily related to conception, BUT the good new is if you did conceive your body is doing a good job of making a good home for your baby 😁
