Let's talk about #freethenipple
How do you feel about the #freethenipple movement? This is a call to legalize allowing women to go topless in the same situations and areas in which men are allowed to be without a shirt. Since men have nipples too and are also allowed to go topless in many situations, I'm personally all for it. Obviously breasts aren't genitals and are for feeding infants, so of course there should never be any judgment towards women who are breastfeeding uncovered (and anyway this is already legal in the US on a federal level). However, I feel that it should be taken a step further and topless equality should be implemented. Thoughts?
The world needs to chill the hell out, man. Especially the US. I'm not saying female breasts are the SAME as male breasts; I'm saying they aren't SEXUAL and should be treated equally under the law because gender-specific laws are unconstitutional. And miss me with, "but men will stare" (not my problem, they need to learn to respect women's autonomy and quit seeing us as sex objects) or "but the kids" (yeah, teach them that's how babies eat and to respect women's bodies and keep it moving).
OK apparently there's one more thing I need to clarify: I'm talking about topless EQUALITY. Women being allowed to be topless in areas where men are allowed to be topless: the beach, doing yardwork on their own property but still visible to the public, the pool, etc. Some of you people are really letting your imaginations run wild, thinking titties are gonna be bouncing around next to suit-clad men at work, school, restaurants, church, whatever. That's not quite what I'm getting at here, but thanks for the entertaining comments. 🤣
