5 weeks postpartum and bleeding again?

Okay I’m going to be honest, postpartum is the WORST STAGE. Is this a period? Is my placenta healing okay? UGH there’s so many things this could be. I was shoveling our driveway and felt a big gush (you guessed it, it was blood). I had some brown bleeding this morning, nothing major.

So ladies, should I go to the doctor? Or are they going to look at me like I’m dumb and tell me I got my period. Could this mean my placenta isn’t healing correctly?

I do breastfeed, but I’m ONLY pumping and I literally pump probably 5 or 6 times a day.

This is so confusing 🤪
