Do plus size women typically take longer to start showing?

I just feel like i should be showing by now (16+5) any input appreciated

Some take longer, it depends on your shape, how you carry, etc. I’m a size 20 and 5’3” with a B belly and showed at 16 weeks (I’m 25 now and REALLY showing). But I’ll post for reference. You might pop very soon, or it could take a while. We’re all different and all beautiful- were growing humans!

I didnt really start showing til 6 or 7 months. I could feel her and see the belly if pulled the fat up lol but just still looked chubby. I also was losing or transferring the weight too 9 months now and have only gained 7 pounds. Its hard not showing lile everyone else but you will

I didn’t feel like I started showing until my third trimester. It made a big difference with what kind of shirt I wore. But I got big pretty fast. I was 200lbs pre-pregnancy and 218 when I delivered.

There are plenty of factors to your bump. For me, turns out I have an anterior placenta that my OB never mentioned (despite me saying I'm worried about my stomach not growing and having back pain). I'm 36+3, could pop at any minute, and I look maybe 18-20 weeks pregnant.

Finally feel like I look pregnant. 38 weeks here 4cm dilated... better late then never I guess.

I didn’t start showing until I was 21 weeks. But I finally looked super pregnant when I was 36 weeks (lit the night before I gave birth). I didn’t even look that pregnant during my maternity pictures.
