BC not working?

I’m on my 2nd month of BC. I’m taking Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo. I should be starting my 3rd pack next week.

According to the eve app I was supposed to get my period a day ago. I have taken my pills religiously, always on time. And the times I’ve had sex ive always used a condom.

The last column is my placebo pills (the week I’m supposed to get my period) it’s Tuesday and I still haven’t gotten it. Should I be worried that It isn’t working and get a bigger dose? I had sex on January 15. I used a condom, it didn’t break or anything. Should I worry about anything else? I have symptoms of my period, sore boobs, the occasional cramps, headache and some nausea, I always get this when my period is to come. I don’t know if it’s that my body is still adjusting to the pill or what.

I’m on ortho tri cyclen. I start my placebo pills on Mondays and I always get my period on Thursdays. Plus, it might take a while for your body to get used to the pill

Someone told me it could take up to 6 months for your body to adjust to birth control. I honestly quit taking mine this past weekend. My periods usually only last about 2 days and my birth control was fine up until December. In December my period was 8 days and super heavy. Then Jan came and my period was 11 days and I bleed A LOT like through my underwear and pants. Well 11 days after that I got my period again.. it wasn’t even a full month. So after talking with my boyfriend we figured it was best for me to quit taking it. Now I’ve been off for almost a week and we are gonna see how it goes not on anything. If you’re in a situation where you can quit taking it, try to quit taking it.

my first sugar pill is on a monday and i don’t get my period until wednesday - and that’s now that i’m used to it.at first i wouldn’t get my period until the end of my sugar pill week - so don’t worry! you’re likely fine ☺️talk to your doctor if you’re really concerned

It'll just be your body getting used to the pill😊 it can throw your period off for a little while (sometimes even months) I wouldn't worry too much about it

You're fine. No matter what the dose is, it'll still take a while to adjust to it and your period to come at a certain time. Tons of people don't get there people until the end of the placebos
