Are/Will you be self administering PIO injections?

Is there any cycle buddy who is/will be self administering PIO shots? My first day is 2/8 and I don’t believe my husband can swap and be off to do it for me. It’s giving me major anxiety.

I had totally anxiety as well. I started PIO last week and the hubby does them but I had to go in a biz trip. I agree with the others that the YouTube videos helped out a lot. Ended up having to do it in airplane bathroom so I didn’t mess up timing😆! But it didn’t hurt at all.

My husband is doing mine, but before we did the first shot we googled videos to see how it was done. We had done one in the past but haven’t done it in months so we just wanted to see. One of the videos that popped up was a lady giving herself the shot. You can try to google the video and see if that helps.

My husband usually does it but on the occasions he can’t, I give it myself. It’s not too bad, just gotta hype yourself up for the initial poke.. also, I can only do it on my right side since I’m right handed. 😂

I start PIO tomorrow for first time! Hubby will be injecting it but he won’t be able to do next Sunday so I will have to do myself. I am also gonna ask my nurse about timing (since he will be home after and before the window they want me to do it in). If I do it myself it will def be with a mirror. Hope everything gets settled for you! I did read a few posts from gals who did it themselves. They said like stims the first few were the hardest. My hubs will be doing mine but if you are self administering, you tube has great videos... i thought i was going to have to do them myself last FET because hubs worked out of state so i prepared but he ended up being around so i didn't have to

I dont understand why you guys get the shots instead of suppositories when so many people have problems with the shots.. 🙈
