Do you think it is appropriate to throw your 14-16 yr old a babyshower

Why is teen pregnancy a trending topic to society? If parents would talk to their children and get more involved they would open up more. The stricker the sneakier. I am not a person to run ones household but a baby is to take 2 steps back and one step foward (at such young age). This does not include rape victims.

The whole point of a baby shower is to get help with purchasing essential items for the baby. So yes it would be more than apporpriate to have a baby shower for a teen 14-16 since they need it more since they usually have little to no income. Should these kids be getting pregnant at such a young age? No I personally dont think so but should they get help ? Yes they should.

Absolutely, for the same reason as the previous comment. It’s not meant to celebrate that they got pregnant at such a young age, it’s meant to help them out with necessities. Diapers, blankets, teething toys, nail clippers, etc. Babies are expensive and young moms need all the help they can get.

I had a shower with my daughter I was 16 and I’m sure my family was not to thrilled but also . What could they do I was already very much pregnant : I think to everyone’s choice . But if my daughter was 16 and pregnant I would do it for her not to celebrate the fact she got pregnant but for the baby is still a blessing regardless . And you still need things for the baby

as a pregnant 16 year old, my family will be having a baby shower for me. teen moms need it especially to get gifts since most are unemployed or don’t have savings. I mostly want mine just to celebrate.  
regardless of my age, a baby is still a blessing to me.
