Just need to vent a little

On the way home from work today I got rear ended at a stop light, the other drivers foot slid off the brake and he barely bumped me. I was fine, there is a very small scuff mark on my bumper. When I told my husband about it he became angry because I didn’t file a police report. He said “I’m not upset with you for getting rear ended that wasn’t your fault, but I’m pissed you didn’t file a report, how could you be that stupid. You basically told the guy you’re ok with him scratching your car. Why don’t I just start driving your car and you drive the POS that I drive to work.” Now, was he worried at all about me, his wife who is 33 weeks pregnant? No he’s worried about a scuff/scratch on the back bumper of my car. I don’t appreciate being spoken to like a child. I’m hormonal, he’s lucky I didn’t spit in his dinner.
