People who judge moms and assume that every teen mom is doomed, will live off the government forever and drop out or just be a bad mom PISS ME OFF. I got pregnant at a 16 with 6 credits (I was a sophomore) in the span of this school year Ive went from 6 credits to 14.5 (almost a senior) and I still have 8 weeks before my son is born meaning I can earn like 4 more credits. I work two jobs, have my own apartment with my boyfriend, pay for all my stuff and my sons stuff and my boyfriend handles the household finical responsibilities. But I gurantee nobody who walks into my high school and sees my with my big old pregnant belly sees me as a young mother who’s trying so hard to provide my son with everything I possibly can, they just see a slut who’s gonna pawn her child off on her parents when he’s born and that makes me so mad. One of my moms co workers has even tracked my mom down at work and at a restaurant asking to adult my baby on multiple occasions....like because I’m young I can’t even be trusted with my own baby?

All my teen mom friends who already have there kids get belittled by other moms and treated like they don’t know anything and can’t care for there kids. It just pisses me off because I know how hard every mother works for her child and her age shouldn’t even be brought up when asking if she’s a good mother. It should be her maturity, Joe hard she’s willing to work for the child, how much she’s willing to sacrifice for own and how responsible she is.
