Condom breaking

So I had sex a few days ago. And he wore a condom, but this was my first time ever using one. I know condoms have lube on them to keep things going smooth but afterwards it seemed like more than just lube was surrounding my vagina. He didn't seem to think anything of it and it was dark. When I felt down there I gave him a look and he just said "what?" I just want to know if I'd be able to tell if it broke or if all of that is completely natural.
