Breastfeeding has been hard. I have been getting frequent plugged ducts. Finally I resolved that for the most part, but got mastitis. I’ve had this round lump in my breast and it didn’t go away for three days, then I started having a fever last night. Got on antibiotics right away. Fever was gone all day today and I thought I was in the clear ... but now it’s back at 2am the next day. It has definitely been over 24 hours since I took antibiotics and I’m worried it means they aren’t working ...

Anyway wanted to share my worries. If anyone had mastitis please let me know how long fever lasted after starting antibiotics.
