What will be your rules when people visit you and baby at the hospital?? Im due march 14th!

So its a crazy and random question that i have for you all..   idk if its a wives tale or if its true...but, is it bad to let woman hold your newborn baby while on their period???  If so, how will you set a rule or ask the woman( wether it be a mom, mom in law, friend or family) if they have their period, and tell them "im sorry but you cant hold my baby because youre on your period and it will make my baby  sick"  also the rules i KNOW for sure im setting up is....
1.Wash and sanitize as soon as you come in the room and before holding my baby
2. You can not even come visit if youre sick! Hopefully  will have common sense lol.
3. And i kind of dont want visitors (unless its family or the godparents) until the next day) i just want privacy.

I’m not having “rules”. I’m trusting the adults in my life to make good judgement calls and respect my boundaries.

No visitors at home for at least a week
When visiting:
You must NOT be sick or have any sickness in the past week
No visits if anyone in your home is sick
Do NOT kiss my son
You Must wash hands before picking my son up
No photos
No visits longer than 30 minutes.

Menstruation isn't going to harm the baby at all. Have everyone clean their hands, and don't spend another minute worrying about periods.

We aren’t having ‘rules’.  The only thing I will be asking is that they use hand sanitizer and the smokers change their shirts before holding baby.  Which is pretty standard ‘visiting the newborn’ etiquette.  
We’ll invite people to come to the hospital when we’re ready for visitors.  It’s an exciting time for everyone and we don’t feel a need to dampen that experience for our friends and family who support us.  It’s not the first baby in our lives and all 9 of my nieces and nephews survived just fine.

I will assume that all adults I have around my baby will conduct themselves in an adult way and can make decisions for themselves...

I only make a rule that people need to wash their hands and just to make sure they aren’t sick. Only my mom and husband are in the room with me when baby is born. Everyone else can wait in the waiting room or at home. We also use the golden hour after birth for just dad and I. 
I actually like visitors in the hospital because I get bored. The social interaction makes me happier.

Women being on their periods is not an issue in the least. It sure how that would make a baby “sick”? Many women get their period back a month after having baby would they not hold their child? My main rule is wash hands and sanitize, no kissing. Don’t come if you or anyone in your house is/has been sick.

ONALAIYA’s RULES!!!!
1.dont do a pop n show at the hospital mommy needs her rest and so does baby please text or call Nazaria, Tianna, Johnathan(if you’re his side of the family), or Myself
2.Dont touch the baby with nasty hands as you enter the room there will be a sink WASH! WASH! WASH! And apply sanitizer after you can never be too clean
3.if you’ve recently been sick please avoid touching Laiya we know you wanna love on her but she’s just too little for all the icky in the world right now
4. If you haven’t been vaccinated KEEP AWAY! 
5. Don’t kiss Laiya’s face if you aren’t mom,Dad,Grandma/Grandpa, or god mommy but foot kisses are acceptable and it’s okay they’re clean
6. If you smoke please wear a fresh shirt newborns don’t want their first memory of you to be the smell of Cancer sticks, blacks, or weed
7. No social media pictures if you aren’t grandma or parents I’d like to keep my child out of the spotlight her first few weeks of life
