The wet cough we were suspicious about ended up being Flu and RSV. First we took her to the pediatrician who just sent us home and said to watch her. She didn’t run any tests. The next night her cough sounds worse, and when my mom fed her a bottle she got choked and acted like she couldn’t breathe. Within the hour she did the same thing and threw up everywhere. Straight to the ER we go. No fever no fussiness, just a cough and nasal congestion. They did her swabs and she came back positive for both. They couldn’t believe she didn’t act sick. So now I feel guilty for taking her out around everyone. Luckily we got sent home, and now we’re on Tamiflu. Learned that Mom and dad intuition are almost always right.
