Has anyone experienced a pregnancy of unknown location?

I had my six week scan and nothing was found in my uterus or tubes — yet my hcg is rising.

I have another scan and blood test tomorrow to see if my hcg is still rising. If so, my doctor advised I will need the methotrexate shot.

But I wonder if I can continue to wait to see if this resolves on its own. So if you’ve experienced this — how far along were you when you had to get the shot or surgery?
