Car rides?

So my son is now 8 weeks old. For the first 6 weeks he loved car rides and was always up looking around or sleeping. Well for the last week and half or so he hates them. He cries whenever the car stops and sometimes will cry the whole time until he finally takes his pacifier and falls alsleep. Anyone else having this issue?

Mine is 7 weeks now but I noticed for the last two weeks he has been hit or miss. Sometimes he loves it and and sleeps the whole time other times he is super fussy and like you said will cry after every stop and even then some. Now it’s been more on the fussy side during car rides. It’s gotten so bad that I usually have a pacifier ready for the cranky car ride. It’s the only thing that works.

Mine hates the car seat so much. Sometimes he’s ok if someone can ride in the back and keep his pacifier in (falls out every five seconds), but when I’m driving he screams his head off. It’s been very isolating as I hate taking him out. I had images of driving to the mall to take stroller walks in the winter every day during maternity leave, but that’s not happening!

Mine hates getting buckled up and every time the car stops for more than a few seconds now. He abhors red lights even asleep, it’s ridiculous.

Yep mine hates the car! Most of the time he is screaming until we get him out.. unless he happens to fall asleep or he takes the pacifier but usually he will just cry and cry until we arrive where we are going... I’m hoping it’s just a phase! My first went through it too but not this bad! 😣

My daughter used to scream at the top of her lungs doing car rides. Now before we leave out I make sure I give her half of a bottle (2ozs) burp her good and give her a pacifier and she usually stays calm until we get where we’re going.
