Anti-depressants and pregnancy?

Currently TTC and I'm on 20mg Lexapro. This medication literally saved my life. I'm afraid I'll have to go off of it once I conceive, but I'll do anything to keep my future baby healthy. Does anyone have experience with being on an anti-depressant while pregnant, or did your doctor recommend it be stopped/lowered?

I was (and still am) on it when I got pregnant with my son. Kept my dose at 10 mg and he was born completely healthy. He is almost 5 now.

I take Lexapro. My doc told me that it’s safe to take before, during and after pregnancy. I’m TTC #1.

I was on Lexapro but when found I was pregnant I had to stop taking it. Talk to your doctor or OBGYN because there are some medications that you can possibly use that would be safe for the baby.

My doctor told me I would be better off to stay on mine. Depression isn’t good for the baby!
