Can a sonographer tell you if something’s wrong?

So I had an internal scan yesterday at the hospital and have been sent a message by my GP to go in and see them tomorrow-I’m guessing to discuss the results. I’m just wondering, is the sonographer not able to tell you? 
If your pregnant?
Something looks wrong? 
PCOS possibly? 
Can anyone help? X

Only a doctor can disclose results of any test, including sonography.

They can’t tell you anything even if pregnant a dr has to look it over first

I’m an ultrasound tech and it’s a huge liability to disclose information. We don’t have the liability insurance and even though we know what’s going on it’s the dr’a job and expertise to diagnose. Never ever ask a tech to tell you what’s going on. It’s awkward and I know personally many techs who feel pressured to say something when they shouldn’t.

From what I heard them speaking to each other about I’m swaying towards possible PCOS which I know isn’t the end of the world and at least I’ll have answers. They said (when I was getting dressed in the room next door) something about the right side 12.5 and left 13.5 which I’m guessing is mm? 🤷🏽‍♀️ xx

Thanks for everyone’s answers. I’m just inpatient lol. I see the Gp tomorrow at 10am so I’ll soon know. Just hope it’s nothing too serious. At least I’ll have answers either way xx
