What Was Your Baby’s First Word?

Our 8 month old just started saying Dada. I am curious if anyone else’s baby said dada or any other non-mama word first?

My 15 month old still doesn’t say mommy! He makes the mamamama sound but not in relation to me in particular. His first word was “agua.” And a couple of weekends ago he started saying “Ok Google.” 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😭😭

My baby’s first word was “Hi” at 6 months, followed almost immediately days later by “mama”

My daughter said Dada first and then didn’t say anything else for about 2 months. Then she finally said Mama out of nowhere in the Chick-fil-a drive thru lol

My nephew says "mom" very clearly and with purpose and hes 5 mos. He also says "love" and "dada". And he now calls me "girl" 😂❤.
