So. I've had the Mirena IUD for about 8 months. My fiance and I recently started having a lot of sex. We didnt get to have sex when I first got it because he was in Utah for Job Corps and he recently got home. Anyway, we've been having sex, a lot and the last two nights of having sex, I let him finish inside of me. (We also never use condoms, neither of us like using them. Yes I know it's very stupid and irresponsible but that's what we do.) The first time doing it he was like, "are you sure" and I told him yes. And last night he finished in me again, he asked again if I was sure before doing so and I told yes and to go on a head. I know with the IUD pregnancy is low but in the back of my mind I'm also very paranoid and such. (I'm always paranoid when it comes to my body) I guess what I'm getting at is some reassurance that I wont get pregnant right away. We do plan on getting a test next week just to make sure but I'm looking g for reassurance from other Ladies with the IUD and their experiences with this and such...

Update: thank you Ladies who reassured me and that gave me some more insight on everything. I'm still new to having the IUD and such; along with learning everything about this kind of birth control. 😊
