Got induced today at 8am. Only needed a small amount of Pitocin and my body began contracting perfectly. Around noon my doctor broke my water and out came brown water ☹️ my contractions really picked up and in about a half hour I was crying for the epidural, I could not wait for that sweet sweet relief! So I sit still through contractions to get my epi and after about a half hour I realize that everything else is numb BESIDES my vag! Wth?!! The nurse at first insisted that it was only “pressure” I was feeling, but no it was PAIN! I could pinch my legs, stomach etc andbnot feel anything but when I pinched my lady parts it still hurt 😩 by 2:30pm I was in full transition and bawling my eyes out in pain. I went from 6-10 cm in a matter of minutes and wanted to push desperately. I had an awful time pushing, I felt EVERYTHING, ring of fire, you name it but after 15 minutes of death pains and feeling like I was going to black out she finally came at 3:15pm and instantly all pain was gone! The best relief I’ve ever felt! Baby came out blue and with the cord around her neck which was likely what caused her to poop. She had to be taken and suctioned out and given oxygen but she’s now doing perfectly and we are so happy 💕 Arielle Lynn
