Talk me off the ledge...we are measuring 99th percentile....6lbs 11oz....I’m 34 weeks measuring 36 +4! My first 2 were around 8lbs but my lady parts can not handle a 10lb baby!!! Anyone else measuring ahead or have had big babies?

Ultrasound measuring is not accurate at all my first they were saying he was over 11lbs already at 36 weeks and wanted to schedule a c but he was born two days before his due date only 8lbs 9oz.
Take it with a grain of salt unless your diabetic your body won’t make a baby you can’t push out

Don’t put too much thought into it— we were in 90/99% at 24 weeks and then at 32 he is now 65/75%. Could just be a growth spurt

I'm measuring about 3 wks ahead, baby was showing 6.2lbs at 33 wks and doctor already talking about induction and c section..I have GD so pretty much I baby will be alittle bigger.

Just keep in mind ultrasound estimates can be off by 2 pounds and there’s a good chance your baby isn’t that big at all!

Mine is measuring a bit on the bigger side, but what concerns me more is he has a big head... that I will have to squeeze out of me!  I am sure they are right about the big head because his brother had a big head and still does (nurse says it tends to run in families). But t brother was born by emergency C, so I don’t know how that will go
